Raque Ford (b. 1986) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include Carolyn (Shoot the Lobster, New York: 2017), It's All About Me, Forget About You (Species, Atlanta: 2017), and Yours Truly, Georgia Brown (International Studio and Curatorial Program, Brooklyn: 2016). Ford's works have been presented in group exhibitions at Kimberly-Klark (Queens: 2016, 2017), Galerie Division (Montreal: 2016), S1 (Portland: 2016), and Evelyn Yard (London: 2015). In 2016 she received the New York Community Trust Van Lier Residency at ISCP in Brooklyn and was an Artist-in-Residence at S1 (Portland) in 2016.
