, an exhibition of new work by Raque Ford. con•fi•dence is a series of prints made at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop in 2017. These monoprints were created from previous sculptures and bear the marks of Ford's etched process. con•fi•dence opens October 5 and runs through November 11, 2017. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 5 from 6 –8 pm. Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, 12 – 5 pm.

Raque Ford (b. 1986) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include Carolyn (Shoot the Lobster, New York; 2017), It's All About Me, Forget About You (Species, Atlanta: 2017), and Yours Truly, Georgia Brown (International Studio and Curatorial Program, Brooklyn: 2016). Ford's works have been presented in group exhibitions at Kimberly-Klark (Queens: 2016, 2017), Galerie Division (Montreal: 2016), S1 (Portland: 2016), and Evelyn Yard (London: 2015). In 2016 she received the New York Community Trust Van Lier Residency at ISCP in Brooklyn and was an Artist-in-Residence at S1 (Portland) in 2016. raqueinezford.com
